It might just be me, but I swear brow definition has become increasingly popular over the last few years with competition for the best brow product within the beauty market booming. I recently caved after all of the hype and bought the Benefit Gimme Brow as I wanted to see if it is worthy of the pedestal it has been placed upon. There are two colours to choose from; light/medium and medium/deep.
As my hair colour is dark blonde/light brunette and my brows are semi-dark, I decided to try out the medium/deep colour and think that it is a good match for me. I do use a light hand when applying this as I like to keep my brows looking very natural.The Benefit Gimme Brow is a brush on fiber gel that promises to be water resistant and long lasting.
After giving this product a thorough road test, I have found the Benefit Gimme Brow to be a wonderful addition to my makeup routine as it not only provides subtle definition, making your brows look fuller and more precise but also sets them in place but without that crunchy feeling. I also really like the fact that the wand is really small so you have complete control of where you want to add definition.
Although it is rather expensive for a brow product retailing at , I am afraid to say I do really like the Benefit Gimme Brow and I do believe it is worthy of the pedestal it has been placed upon. You can buy it here.
However, if you are looking for a similar product but can’t quite bring yourself to pay the price tag, the Rimmel Brow This Way Styling Gel is very similar. The main difference is the wand. The Rimmel wand is much larger than the Benefit Gimme Brow but I believe the performance is very similar. You can buy it here.
