In the past I would have shyed away from powders as I have never been a fan of matte, powdery looking bases but after coming across across Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder I have been converted.
It provides a light to medium coverage but is definitely more of a setting powder than a powder foundation which for me was exactly what I was hoping for. The texture of this powder is lovely!! It's silky, light texture blends beautifully across the skin leaving a radiant but mattifying and airbrushed finish; a healthy glow as the name suggests opposed to a glitter ball or a completely matte base. Should you feel the need to touch up during the day, it doesn't leave your skin looking cakey rather it just looks and feels completely weightless upon the skin.
I also really like the packaging. It's very slim and compact so perfect for your handbag and the lovely big mirror is great for touch ups. (It is also a very forgiving mirror if you know what I mean….). Surprisingly, I also really like the brush that comes with this powder. I usually hate the brushes or sponges that come with compacts but this particular brush is super soft, picks up just the right amount of product and because of the shape it allows precise application. Personally, I just apply this through my T-Zone.
I absolutely adore Chanel Les Beiges (I use the shade 20 but there are 7 shades in the line) and can't see myself parting with this little gem any time soon!!
